reflectors

woven line by line, layer by layer, and color by color, reflectors embrace the ever-shifting urban skyline. these responsive works observe the temporal qualities of our fabricated environments, becoming monuments and mirrors to time. they are as much a skyscraper as they are an empty lot. they are a window as much as they are the sky, and they are native as much as they are cultivated. they blur the line between natural and artificial and ask questions about whether a line exists at all.
